2. Bookings and Payments

  • Requests & Confirmation: All service bookings are subject to availability and formal written or digital confirmation from R & A Logistics Services.
  • Rates & Quotes: All prices quoted are in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise specified. Quotes are subject to change prior to booking confirmation due to external factors (such as third-party costs, customs duties, or seasonal rates).
  • Payment Terms: Full or partial deposit payments may be required prior to service delivery as specified at the time of booking.
  • Additional Fees: Expenses incurred on behalf of the client (e.g., venue bookings, specialized freight fees, excess baggage, customs duties) will be billed to the client.

3. Client Obligations

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for us to deliver services (e.g., flight schedules, passport details, cargo manifests, delivery addresses).
  • For international cargo, clients are responsible for ensuring that goods comply with UK and international export/import laws and do not contain prohibited or restricted items.
  • Clients are responsible for obtaining valid travel documentation, visas, and identification required for travel and airport services.

4. Cancellations and Modifications

  • Cancellation policies vary depending on the specific service (e.g., luxury rental cars, hotel accommodations, cargo dispatch).
  • Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing. Cancellations made within specified short-notice windows may incur cancellation fees or forfeiture of deposits as outlined in your service agreement.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • R & A Logistics Services strives to deliver exceptional standards. However, we are not liable for delays, losses, or service disruptions resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, air traffic delays, road congestion, customs holds, or acts of government (Force Majeure).
  • For freight and cargo services, liability for loss or damage to goods is governed by applicable standard carrier terms, statutory limits, and international transport conventions unless additional comprehensive insurance is explicitly arranged prior to transit.
  • In no event shall R & A Logistics Services be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
